Desert adventures

We're walking through a vast desert.
Frederik is already sweating a lot.

Can't you just use the amulet again?

What exactly should I do? Do you want to fly around with me?

Maybe you could just blow away the next dune, so we see if it's worth it.

And what if there are people behind it? I would bury them in sand.

Or let's ride on a dune ourself!

He just takes the amulet away from me and tries to use it but nothing happens.

Frederik just gives it to me, seeming pretty annoyed.

There's only one place with so much sand.
This place must be the desert kingdom.

Penina puts her arm around Frederik and strokes him, which helps him relax more than her words.

Soon we reach the top of another dune. But there's still nothing interesting to see.

Hey, look over there!
I think there are traces in the sand.

I don't see them.

I'm sure there have been people recently.

We follow Penina and after a while there really are some people in the distance.
It's a group of strangely wrapped people wandering around with some desert animals.

We get closer. Even the children are just wrapped in strange stripes of cloth.
And none of the other people have skin visible.
It's not even obvious who of them is male or female.
Besides that, most of them also wear simple cloaks, basically a large, brownish scrap of cloth.

As we start walking among them, they don't really seem to mind. Even the children, who are expected to be very curious, don't even turn toward us.

I get closer to one of these person and ask to show me the way to civilization. But even after asking multiple people, nobody wants to help us.
They don't say a single word and just make a few sounds. I guess, they don't even know how to talk, and if they can, they have their own language.
But I'm sure they understand me. When looking at their gestures, it's pretty obvious that she suggests us to follow them for now. They don't want to get close to civilization themselves, though.

They really don't mind when we follow them for a while.
Even if they don't talk, they are very friendly.
They even let us have some of their drinks.
But after getting closer to these people, the children are already confused about our weird looks.

In the evening, they set up exactly three tents and each of us is allowed to sleep in one of them.

As I'm trying to sleep in the tent, two persons enter. They take off their clothes and are now naked, which means, they're only wrapped into their tape.

I still don't know if I'm here with boys or girls, but they seem to be around my age.

One of them wants me to do something.
The person fiddles around with my clothes, so I guess I'm supposed to take them off.
And I really have to take off all of them.

And then the same person just cuddles with me naked.
It's weird, but kind of nice.
The other person already turned away and doesn't want to look.
I assume them to be brother and sister, and I'm cuddling with the sister. This really makes me horny.
But not much more happens before I fall asleep.

In the next morning, I'm alone in this tent again, still naked.
Bright light is shining in already.
After getting dressed, I get out, and we quickly keep going.

I try to stay close to that presumed girl I've been sleeping with.
We can't talk, but I touch her often.
We must come across like a couple to everyone else.

After a while she just points into some direction. This must be the way to go.
So I call Frederik and Penina and we start to walk away.
I look back at my friend to ensure that she's fine with that, that it's really what she suggested.
She nods.

It doesn't take long until we find a field full of devices on the ground. I have no idea what this is.

Where are we?

This must be a solar power plant. Almost all the energy required for the city is produced here.
Basically all electricity for the whole world main island is produced here.

It's really huge. We keep walking for long, and there's only sand.
At least there aren't dunes anymore. They became smaller and smaller, and now we don't have to go up and down all the time.
But after a while a small iron hut is visible in the distance.
It's essentially just a box elevated by a metal structure.

We immediately head to this place. Somebody might be in there to help us.

When I knock, a guy wearing a blue uniform comes out.

Hey, could you help us please?

Come in, come in!
I normally don't get visitors.

We enter his small box. It's pretty tight for four people in there.

So you're working here?

Yeah, I'm a technician.
Even if it's mostly maintained automatically, I regularly have to check the panels and cables.

You probably got lost on your way to the desert town, right?

Yeah, we got lost. So there's a town nearby?

Yeah, sure. It's just...

The guy looks around confused.

And at the coast behind the desert town there's th port where you can leave this island.

He goes outside again and we follow him.

As we pass the huge power plant, the city can already be seen in the distance. It's almost symmetrical. The buildings are mostly in a brown color, but they are decorated in red colors on the left, and in blue colors in the right.

I'm really looking forward to explore such an exciting place.
